Novell exteNd Web Services SDK 5.2.1

Overview Thanks in no small measure to the Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) architecture, the Java programming language has come into widespread use on the application servers that provide access to corporate data centers. These servers increasingly employ Web services to provide this access in a standard fashion; to better support Web services, the Java community has produced the Java API for XML-Based RPC (JAX-RPC). This paper compares the Novell JAX-RPC implementation, Novell exteNd Web Services SDK 5.2.1, with two other JAX-RPC implementations: Apache Axis 1.2 Beta, the Apache Foundation's implementation of SOAP, and Sun Microsystems' Reference Implementation of JAX-RPC, found in its Java Web Services Developer Pack (JWSDP) 1.4.
