Gateway Community College is one of 12 schools in the Connecticut community college system. In early 2001, the pieces for a new infrastructure and operating system were being put into place. Gateway Community College asked Dell Professional Services (DPS) to begin investigating server options for the Windows NT upgrade that was being planned to help develop a comprehensive technology plan. Today, Gateway Community College's new servers are running well, as are the workstations and notebooks.
