Technical Paper on Wipro's MPEG-4 Simple Profile Video Encoder

Overview MPEG-4 is the most recent multimedia standard from ISO/IEC and part 2 of this standard viz. ISO/IEC 14496-2 describes the syntax of the coded bitstream and the decoding process for the visual information contained within the MPEG-4 stream. ISO/IEC 14496 is intended to be generic in the sense that it serves a wide range of applications, bitrates, resolutions, qualities and services. Applications cover, among other things, digital storage media, content based image and video databases, internet video, wireless video, etc.
