Dantz Retrospect Allows Company to Recover From Catastrophic Fire

Overview Shortly after midnight on July 15, 2002, a fire broke out in a two-story office building in Walnut Creek, California that housed the corporate headquarters of WildPackets, a multi-million dollar international business producing an award-winning line of networking software for customers worldwide. In less than an hour, fire had completely engulfed the building. Although tape sets, which had grown to nearly 70 tapes, were taken offsite monthly, the June tape set was still in the company's offices. Despite being secured in a fireproof safe, the tapes were unusable because of smoke and water damage. WildPackets then went to Dantz for help in restoring the May backup tapes, which had been stored offsite.
