Footwear Company, Dr. Martens, 'Steps Up' with ShoreTel

Overview Dr. Martens was looking for a new phone system that would reduce both telecommunications and telephony management costs and improve communications between employees. They needed system capabilities to improve customer service, simplify administration, and improve overall reliability. After carefully evaluating Mitel, Dr. Martens deployed a ShoreTel IP telephony system, including voice switches, telephones, and software, at the company's three Portland, Oregon locations. The ShoreTel solution saves Dr. Martens on long-distance telephone charges, simplifies common administrative tasks, improves reliability with a distributed architecture, and gives employees powerful productivity-boosting features integrated tightly with their Lotus Notes-based desktops.
