Overview Now more than ever, the world community is dependent on the accurate identification of individuals to safely conduct day-to-day operations. To operate within a framework where people are able to assume alternate identities, or randomly create new identities, can lead to serious consequences. Lockheed Martin has created a suite of capabilities to provide powerful biometric-based registries to meet this challenge. Starting with the sound and mature technologies used to create systems such as the FBI's national Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS), Lockheed Martin has created advanced registry capabilities that include user-friendly computerized biometric enrollment, highly accurate automated biometric identification systems, secure data communication, intelligent dissemination and response handling, and interfaces to a multitude of user applications.
