Overview Economic development and democracy are key factors in the e-government equation. Along with these more obvious factors, this new archetype obligates that government defines its roles while further transitioning into e-governance. Citizens will demand that governmental agencies continue the path toward providing key service delivery electronically in the Information Age. By developing e-government strategies and implementing electronic service delivery, agencies can vastly improve service delivery, responsiveness and accessibility, reduce service delivery costs and improve the quality of life for all citizens.
