A 12-mW ADC Delta-Sigma Modulator With 80 dB of Dynamic Range Integrated in a Single-Chip Bluetooth Transceiver

Overview The implementation details of a delta-sigma modulator ADC for quadrature baseband demodulation integrated in a commercial direct-conversion Bluetooth radio-modem transceiver have been presented. The design achieves 80 dB of dynamic range and 77 dB of peak SINAD over the 0-500 kHz Bluetooth signal bandwidth, with a current consumption of 4.4 mA.
