A Step-by-Step Guide to Cluster-to-Cluster Data Replication

Overview Data replication is the linchpin of disaster recovery planning for most enterprise-level IT organizations. With HP OpenView Storage Mirroring, which works within the Microsoft Cluster Service (MSCS) and is powered by NSI Software’s Double-Take patented Sequential Transfer Asynchronous Replication technology, you can perform data replication in any of three configurations: a stand-alone source machine connected to a target cluster, a source cluster connected to a stand-alone target machine, or a source cluster connected to a target cluster. Download the HP white paper, “Providing disaster recovery for an HP ProLiant Cluster F200 for MSA1000 and HP OpenView Storage Mirroring,” for detailed instructions on installing Storage Mirroring and performing cluster-to-cluster replication, which provides for the maximum uptime of your data.
