Fiber-Optic Sub-Carrier Multiplexed CDMA Technique for Future Micro-Cellular System

Overview In this paper, two kinds of optical access networks in cellular system are putted out in order to simplify basestation and reduce the scale of cellular. CDMA technique here could be used to suppress the interference of both nonlinearity products in SCM and optical frequency shift in WDM system. Based on the performance analyses result of SCM/CDMA system, several considerations on designing this network are given out.
