Overview Dallas County Schools (DCS) is a service agency serving 15 independent school districts in Dallas County, Texas. They wanted to provide Internet connectivity for multiple school districts, enable online administrative applications, provide educational content and staff/professional development opportunities and cut costs. They implemented HP ProLiant DL380 servers with dual 2.4GHz processors, HP Smart Array 431 storage arrays with 146 GB drives for each media server and HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Array 1000 Fibre Channel storage array.
