HP Case Study: Atlantic Blue Cross Care

Overview Atlantic Blue Cross Care is a leading provider of personal health benefits coverage. Atlantic Blue Cross Care merged with one of its competitors, Maritime Medical and significantly increased its storage information. As a result of the merger, Atlantic Blue Cross was running SUN Solaris, HP/UX and MS Windows NT, between two separate locations. The company needed to be able to manage, share and control its data with the same quality controls. The solution was Storage Consolidation, ProLiant Servers (50 qty), HP Services Solutions, HP Integrity rx1600 server (Itanium) and HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array 5000.
