Blue Titan Software Case Study: Sony

Overview In early 2002, Sony Broadband Services (Broadband Services), which supports Sony Music Entertainment, Inc., Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Sony Electronics, Inc., mandated universal, enterprise-wide interoperability and looked at Web-services-based infrastructure as the best foundation to meet this goal. Blue Titan Network Director delivered Sony an architecture for integration, and from this Sony created an enterprise-wide SOA that drives data, application and process integration. Network Director provided Sony with a "control layer" for their infrastructure, which made their vision of shared services a reality.
