SharePoint Portal Server Key to the NHS Modernisation Agenda for Universtiy College London Hospitals
Overview The University College London Health Trust is one of the largest and busiest NHS Trusts in the country, responsible for the running of 8 hospitals in central London. It was clear that UCLH's old intranet was struggling to deliver a good service even before compliance to the Freedom of Information Act became a factor. With its multiple locations and large workforce, UCLH required a system which could rectify the problems of the old system and offer advanced functionality, ease-of-use, scalability and flexibility. Content and Code judged that a combination of Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server and Content Management Server would lay the foundations for an excellent solution.
