KOMET Builds Adaptive SAP Landscape With HP Storage Solutions

Overview KOMET GROUP GmbH was established in 2004 to unify the sales activities of KOMET, Dihart and JEL. They wanted to enable a greater degree of adaptability and business agility by increasing capacity and scalability, and ensure tight cost control and rapid return on investment (ROI) by streamlining administration effort and leveraging industry-standard technologies and standardize heterogeneous IT landscape within the KOMET GROUP. The solution was HP ProLiant servers powering SAP R/3 Enterprise with 300 users, HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA 5000), HP StorageWorks Rapid Backup for mySAP Business Suite and HP StorageWorks MSL Series tape libraries.
