East Rock Magnet School Leverages Wireless HP Laptops for Elevated Student Learning

Overview East Rock Magnet School, an inner-city school located in New Haven, Connecticut, services a diverse student population - with approximately 17 countries and 20 languages currently represented in the student body. They wanted to fully leverage Federal Department of Education's grant to optimally embrace e-learning, infuse curriculum, planning, standards and assessments with the latest hardware and software, and select robust laptop PCs capable of withstanding classroom rigors. The solution was 220 HP Compaq Evo Notebook N600c with three-year warranty, dual batteries and built-in wireless networking and PLATO Orion Standards & Curriculum Integrator software and training.
