Overview With more than 300 employees operating out of 20 different branch offices across Florida, Middleton Lawn & Pest Control faces a major challenge keeping track of its 60,000 customers. Until recently, meeting that challenge meant that technicians returned from their routes loaded down with paperwork, which then had to be mailed to one of the company's district offices, where employees manually updated Middleton's central customer database. The solution was HP iPAQ Pocket PC running SmartBiz Mobile, a software application from FMC Software Solutions that is optimized for the lawncare and pest management business.
