A Solid Platform for Sedus Stoll's Future

Overview For more than 130 years, Sedus Stoll AG has been one of Europe's top furniture manufacturers. Sedus Stoll needed to respond to increasing competitive pressure in the office furniture marketplace. It had to replace its heterogeneous IT infrastructure with a new solution capable of supporting its business strategy effectively. Sedus Stoll decided to implement SAP R/3 throughout its European operations. To run SAP, it chose to implement a consolidated central infrastructure with a single database and VPN links to locations across Europe. HP was engaged to design and implement this infrastructure, which is based around HP Integrity rx5670 servers and HP StorageWorks EVA 3000 systems, supplied by CBA Computer Broker AG.
