HP NAS Gives Holmbergs Fast File Share on a Mixed Platform

Overview Based in Malmo and the nearby university town of Lund, Holmbergs is one of Sweden's most respected print companies with a history that goes back 100 years. Holmbergs, needed to store and retrieve large amounts of business critical data. Its existing heterogeneous storage environment had become complicated and difficult to manage and the servers were running out of warranty. Holmbergs needed a new consolidated storage solution capable of serving its mixed Windows/Mac platform. Holmbergs installed an HP NAS unified network storage solution running Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003. The solution also includes HP's MSA (Modular Smart Array) 30 SCSI disk drive storage enclosure.
