Labor Standards in the Arab World

Overview The creation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations, establishes certain inalienable rights to all people. Labor standards were incorporated within this declaration, which is adopted by all members of the United Nations. Currently the abuses and issues of labor standards within the majority of the developing world is a major problem. For these countries, including many countries of the Arab World, the labor standards guaranteed to all people through the Universal Declaration of Human Rights are not respected.
