Allergan Assures Data Center Operation With HP Business Continuity Services

Overview Allergan, based in Irvine, Calif., is a global specialty pharmaceutical company that develops and commercializes innovative products for eye care, neuromodulation, skin care and other specialty markets. Their challenge was to identify the right solution for full recovery in the event of a catastrophic data center failure. HP was one of only two companies whose proposals seemed to measure up to Allergan's expectations. Allergan chose HP Business Continuity & Availability Services based on its expertise, the resources that would be devoted to Allergan's use at the HP Recovery Center in Atlanta, and the flexibility of the HP agreement.
