When Worlds Collide: The Convergence of Network and Application Management

Overview Concord Communications built its business around Network Health, a performance monitor for routers, switches, and frame-relay, ATM and remote-access links. Concord is a fervent supporter of convergence. The combination of NSM with APM forms the basis of its roadmap. The company's five-year-old strategy combines acquisitions with hard work to ensure close interoperability with third parties. The result, Concord's eHealth Suite, is a shining example of a converged systems and application management framework built up from a network management base.
