Overview The purpose of this white paper is to facilitate the advancement of Enterprise Architecture maturity within government organizations. Enterprise Architecture efforts are a key factor in the transformation of government to a business-value driven approach. This paper describes key lessons learned from successful Enterprise Architecture programs and the steps they have taken to achieve their success. Specifically, the paper identifies successful Enterprise Architecture practices, and provides recommendations for cross-agency documentation, evolution and where appropriate, sharing of successful practices.
