Government as Real-Time Enterprise: Vision or Oxymoron?
Overview When mentioning the substantial benefits of the real-time enterprise (RTE), it is easy to come up with examples from the private sector, most notably in supply chain management, logistics, financial management and reporting. It is also difficult to articulate the business case to react faster and eliminate delays in an environment where competitive pressures are almost nonexistent.
