Abbey National Expands Outsourcing Agreement

Overview Abbey National has always been at the forefront of its industry, being the first Building Society to demutualise. The desire to keep moving forward and look to the future is also demonstrated in the manner in which it operates its own business, looking for ways to maximise efficiency and productivity. When the company decided to rationalise its mailroom services by outsourcing, the main concern was that the new supplier would need to provide a good cultural fit and see the contract in terms of a partnership. PBMS was chosen as it seemed the best match for Abbey National, and in addition, proposed a very competitive offering.
