Automating Document Processing to Streamline Fundraising
Overview When the Ball State University Foundation moved into a new alumni center in the late 1990s, it was clear that workspace would be limited. At the same time, the university was undergoing a fundraising campaign to increase the annual volume of gifts and pledges coming into the foundation. In order to ensure that the foundation could handle the increased volume - in terms of both staff and space limitations - the university turned to Imaging Office Systems, a full-service provider of imaging and document management systems, for assistance. Imaging Office Systems recommended Documentum ApplicationXtender and LEGATO COLDXtender, which would enable scanning and online storage of - as well as desktop access to - gift and pledge documents.
