Implementing Effective Interactive Alerting and Event Resolution Solutions

Overview This paper provides insight into how IT organizations use AlarmPoint in coordination with PATROL and PATROL Enterprise Manager (PATROL EM). AlarmPoint, when integrated with PATROL and PATROL EM, ensures that events detected by BMC Software applications are routed to remote personnel on any communication device. Once found, the contacted person can interact, take actions on PATROL or PATROL EM, forward the alert, accept or deny the alert, or take remote actions to resolve the event from any phone or text wireless device.
