Maintaining an Educational Culture in Changing Times: A Case Study

Overview AMES Education provides English language and vocational training to newly arrived migrants including those who come under Refugee and Humanitarian visas and those who have Business migrant visas. AMES Education provides flexible training delivery that utilises a range of online technologies in addition to classroom-based tuition. This case study is an attempt to capture AMES at a point in time (late 2000). It records the organisational change process which is moving to integrate the provision of flexible delivery of training into a 'whole' organisational flexible delivery operation. The areas of interest in this case study are those that contribute to an organisational culture supportive of a commitment to flexible delivery.
