RMIT University: Seamless Academic Management Involving Online Technology - A Case Study

Overview The case study is an attempt to 'capture' RMIT University at a point in time (late 2000) in the organisational change process which is moving to integrate the flexible delivery of training provision into a 'whole' organisational flexible delivery operation. The areas of particular interest are those that contribute to an organisational culture supportive of and committed to flexible delivery. In fact RMIT University has become a leader in the design, development, application and implementation of learning materials which not only embraces new learning technologies, but contributes to the expansion of flexible delivery provision both nationally and offshore.
