Overview Longmont's mission is to serve the needs of nearly 77,000 residents responsibly and cost-effectively. They need to upgrade an aging network infrastructure to strengthen manageability and security, increase bandwidth and support eventual network convergence. They deployed an HP ProCurve Switch 9304m at the core of the city's network and HP ProCurve Switch 4000m and 2500 series switches at the edges. Use HP network node manager software to improve manageability. This implementation made critical city services operating more efficiently and reliably with ProCurve's Networking Adaptive EDGE Architecture and made Network administrators more Easy to manage the system, and savings generated by the new technology.
