Center of Excellence Is Well-Positioned for Flexible Growth

Overview The Center of Excellence (COE) is a collaborative information technology effort by the nine North American distributors to a Fortune 500 restaurant corporation with franchise locations worldwide. A key COE initiative now in progress is the implementation of a standard enterprise resource planning (ERP) system as a means to streamline, simplify, and reduce the costs of operations. The COE selected PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne extended enterprise software. With PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne software, the COE has a solution that allows each of the centers to recognize orders from the customer in different ways, such as when a center receives the order, picks the order, stages the order on a truck, or delivers the order.
