CDMA2000 for Wireless in Local Loop Networks
Overview Although an operator's choice of a WLL technology may often depend on frequency band allotments, other factors such as infrastructure and handset availability, cost (which mainly depends on volume), spectral efficiency and data services capabilities of the technology also matter. CDMA2000, a 3G mobile communications technology, has been chosen by many operators as a preferred solution for their WLL requirements. CDMA2000 is delivering on the 3G promise today. This white paper is intended to provide a high-level analysis of how CDMA2000 mobile technology and its features can be leveraged successfully in the wireless local loop environment.

Data on 3G: an Introduction to the Third Generation
The telecommunications world is changing as the trends of media convergence, industry consolidation, Internet and Internet Protocol (IP) technologies and mobile communications collide into one. Significant change will be bought...
Space Division Multiple Access (SDMA) for Robust Ad Hoc Vehicle Communication Networks
This paper proposes a novel robust and self-organizing architecture for mobile ad hoc networks. The proposed architecture, Space Division Multiple Access (SDMA), relies on user position information and provides users...
Analysis of a Partial Decorrelator in a Multicell DS-CDMA System
Although the decorrelator has probably drawn more attention than any other multiuser detector, almost all studies have been for a single-cell code-division multiple-access (CDMA) system. In a CDMA system with...
Capacity Simulation of cdma2000 1xEV Wireless Internet Access System
The cdma2000 1xEV standard, also known as IS-856, is the next generation solution to the ever-growing demand for high-speed wireless Internet access. The 1xEV standard is an evolution of the...
CDMA-Based Network-on-Chip Architecture
This paper presents a novel Network-on-Chip (NoC) architecture that is based on Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) techniques. The orthogonality properties of a Walsh code are used to route data...
