Final IPv4 to IPv6 Transition Cookbook for Organisational/ISP (NREN) and Backbone Networks
Overview This paper describes the IPv6 transition mechanisms available to the National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) who are part of the 6NET project. The mechanisms need to operate to complement those that provide an IPv6 service to the end users in the universities. The paper reviews the mechanisms, states the current usage of those mechanisms, and describes some of the scenarios for NREN transition.
