Hitchcock Automotive Resources Connects Dealerships With Partners Over Cisco Network
Overview Hitchcock Automotive Resources comprises five automotive dealerships. Localized servers are very costly to manage and maintain, and required a support person at each location for troubleshooting. Because each server was isolated from the rest, it was difficult to share and consolidate business information. Hitchcock deployed an end-to-end Cisco network. The company chose Cisco because its solutions could provide the dependability and performance needed for critical e-business applications, and the scalability needed to support future growth. Hitchcock dealership connects to the company WAN and the core applications running at its headquarters in City of Industry via leased T1 lines, using Cisco 2611XM multiservice routers.
