German Shoe Manufacturer Integrates Meto Printers With Existing System

Overview An AS 40 thermal direct/thermal transfer printer and a custom-designed three-part label are helping Germany's Millennium Schuhe GmbH Bensheim (Bata Shoes) fulfill orders at their central distribution warehouse faster and more accurately. The AS 40 printer is connected with the POS system from Millennium and communicates with Millennium's EDI system via Ethernet. Additionally, Bata Shoes enjoys the convenience of dealing with a single supplier for labels, printers and software, and the confidence that come from reliable, trouble-free operation.
