Windows Form Creation and High-Speed Network Printing
Overview Direct Marketing Resources (DMR) is a direct mail and marketing company that has discovered a way to use common PC software packages such as WordPerfect and FoxPro to create and print their customer applications on their own high-speed laser printer. For production printing of their DOS and Windows applications, DMR uses the Solimar Print/Director System, a modular PC-based print server, which provides connectivity from midrange hosts and networks to print common applications onto Xerox production printers. DMR uses Solimar's PCL Printer Emulation Module for production printing of their various DOS and Windows applications. With Solimar, DMR's network users print their jobs onto the Xerox 4090 and 9790 Laser Printer at 92 and 120 pages per minute, respectively.
