Physical Infrastructure Protection White Papers
AMO Fact Sheet
Overview The Office of Air and Marine Operations (AMO) within U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) protects the American people and critical infrastructure through the coordinated use of air and marine law enforcement by detecting, interdicting, and deterring terror and criminal acts as they relate to the unlawful movement of people, money, and goods across U.S. borders, or within restricted domestic airspace. This mission makes AMO a crucial component of the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) layered approach to border security.
