Compass Group Boosts Efficiencies and Ensures Customer Satisfaction With E-Business Expansion

Overview Headquartered in the United Kingdom, Compass Group is the world's largest foodservice company and has continually expanded in Australia. Manual processes for contract management and multiple databases made it difficult to accurately track contracts, putting the company at risk for revenue leakage and dissatisfied customers. Invoicing was problematic because the company relied on individual staff to track contract variations in previous billing cycles. Procurement also was getting out of hand as many of Compass Group's sites were not complying with the company's approved list of suppliers and products. As a result, Compass Group decided to upgrade its existing Oracle systems and standardize on a single e-business platform to help drive efficiencies, automate key processes, satisfy customers, ensure compliance with procurement guidelines, and manage future growth.
