Camaieu Dresses Up Retail Operations With Economical OLAP Solution

Overview Camaieu is a France-based manufacturer of stylish and affordable clothing. It sought a cost-effective, manageable solution that would provide additional analytic options and improve performance. Camaieu capitalized on its existing IT resources by pairing the OLAP option to the Oracle Database with Business Objects. Camaieu chose the OLAP option to Oracle Database for its analytic capabilities, high performance, and its SQL interface to multidimensional data types that allows using Business Objects as the query tool. Having OLAP integrated within Oracle Database simplified administration and reduced operating costs because both relational and multidimensional data is managed in a single database.
