Power and Water Saves $1 Million Annually With Oracle Financials
Overview Power and Water is one of the largest businesses in the Northern Territory of Australia. Its goals were to provide quality financial data faster and more frequently, integrate existing financial system with other software for efficient commercial operation, integration with EMPAC works management software and delivering strong functionality required in a business environment. Power and Water implemented eight Oracle applications, all components of Oracle E-Business Suite: General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Assets, Cash Management, Purchasing, Projects, and Internet Procurement. Power and Water uses Oracle Projects to help manage its AU$40 million annual capital investment program as well as similar expenditures on maintenance and repairs.
