Overview There is an ongoing debate that has been hotly deliberated amongst various project management communities involving whether or not technology project managers should be more focused on the technology they are managing or the process in which they manage it. The end result of this debate will inevitably be that each situation calls for a different course of action and neither side of the debate is solely correct or incorrect. Because every project is unique in nature and every project team consists of varying degrees of technical and non-technical aptitude, each situation must be taken into consideration independently of any other.
