BP's Carson Unit Refines Contractor Management With WorkTech's Contractor Cost Tracking System (CCTS)

Overview BP is a leading oil, gas, and energy business with operations in 100 countries around the world. The goals of the company were alignment of processes across all business areas, improve management of contractor relationships, reduce error rates, frustration, and labor costs and gain timely, detailed information or decision-making and work control. Having recently brought MRO Software's MAXIMO Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) online, BP Carson implemented the Contractor Cost Tracking System (CCTS) from Work Technology Corporation to complement MAXIMO and manage contractor costs. CCTS is used to capture and report all significant contractor spending for the business unit. Each contractor is stepped through a series of application windows that capture the detailed information needed to accurately enter, validate, and invoice work and costs to BP Carson.
