Anti-Hacking White Papers

Crisis Management Projects

Overview Tetra Tech provided technical support at the Pentagon immediately after the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. They performed air monitoring and air sampling at ground zero while fire fighters and military personnel erected support structures on the first and second floors of the Pentagon near the point of impact. Tetra Tech monitored the air for volatile organic compounds and explosive atmospheres while fire fighters and rescue personnel worked inside the Pentagon. Based on air monitoring data, Tetra Tech recommended that all personnel working in the "hot zone" wear air-purifying respirators with combination cartridges to filter out dust and organic compounds.
