Overview The client is a key Department of Defense Information Technology Agency in the USA. It awarded a major contract to Videla International and Thales e-Security for the Thales e-Security Datacryptor ATM devices. Thales e-Security's Datacryptor ATM is a high-speed encryption product, specifically designed to secure voice, data and video information transmitted over Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) networks at data rates from DS3 to OC3 and beyond. The Datacryptor ATM provides access control, authentication, electronic key management, and in-band management between secured sites/nodes, and confidentiality of transmitted information via FIPS 140 and Common Criteria approved cryptographic methods.
