Frequency Allocations for WiMAX Systems in Hong Kong

Overview WiMAX is a non-profit corporation formed by equipment and component suppliers to promote the adoption of IEEE 802.16a compliant equipment by ensuring compatibility and interoperability of BFWA equipment from different vendors. Today, the 802.16a technology is also known as WiMAX. This paper gives a technical overview of WiMAX ("Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access") systems and explores the possible available frequency bands for WiMAX application in Hong Kong.
