Thin Client Strategies: Reducing Risk Through Centralized Computing

Overview The purpose of this presentation is to consider the value of centralized thin client computing in organizations and evaluate how this model can help to better secure the networks. But regardless of whether thin client technologies are right for a particular organization, one needs to re-evaluate the current philosophy of distributed computing. This webcast also examines how one can improve system security through returning to this centralized approach. One must also be aware of the costs associated with this type of model and therefore what cost benefits can be obtained through implementing this computing model as well is examined.
