Mobility and Freedom for Students at the HES Amsterdam

Overview The HES Amsterdam (Amsterdam School of Business) is one of the largest institutes of professional business education in the Netherlands. Applications for students and staff had to be deployed and updated on each PC, which consumed a vast amount of IT support time and delayed the delivery of new software to students and staff. The school's search for a solution led to the implementation of Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server. The HES deployed over 35 applications, including enterprise software such as SAP and Oracle, wired and wireless, local and remote, to more than 6,000 students and staff from its centralized Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Servers.
