Overview Visual Basic .NET makes it easy both to implement new events and to respond to events. Using just a handful of keywords (Event, RaiseEvent, Handles, AddHandler, and RemoveHandler) you can create, handle, and associate all the events that your application requires. This paper discusses raising and responding to events in Visual Basic .NET. This paper also explains how to utilize the flexibility Visual Basic .NET offers in associating event handlers with events, including dynamic association of event handlers with events at run time.
