Identity Management Case Study: What We Did for a Not-for-Profit Organisation

Overview The client is a large not-for-profit organisation headquartered in the US. The IT Operations Department faced exploding Help Desk costs for password resets alone and had accumulated an unmanageable number of databases and directories. It was recommended that a centralised access and Identity Management solution capable of delegated administration and user profile self-management would help this organisation. The solution included OblixTM NetPoint 5.1 Identity and Access Management to support a wide range of internal and external applications accessed by employees, contractors, business partners and customers. It provided a scalable Identity Management infrastructure, standardised the application integration process and reduced security development costs.
