HP OpenView Chalks Up Success With University Helpdesk

Overview The client Edith Cowan University is taking a scholarly approach to the re-engineering of its IT helpdesk by implementing Hewlett-Packard (HP) OpenView Service Desk solution based on the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework. ITIL is a world-leading framework for IT service management that endorses a best practice approach. Through HP OpenView Service Desk, the West Australian-based University is developing a streamlined, largely automated and integrated technology framework, which delivers a complete picture of its entire IT infrastructure. HP OpenView Service Desk's web-enabled capabilities will continue to drive connectivity through the help desk service.
